FEMA Notice Date: May 17th, 2024
On May 17, 2024, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) declared that federal disaster aid with individual assistance has been made available to counties in Texas to supplement recovery efforts in the areas affected by severe storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes, and flooding on April 26, 2024 – continuing. On May 21, 2024, an amendment was issued that granted individual assistance to six additional counties. On May 22, 2024, 2 additional counties were granted individual assistance. On May 27, 2024, 4 additional counties were granted individual assistance. On May 29, 2024, 3 additional counties were granted individual assistance. On June 4, 2024, 4 additional counties were granted individual assistance. On June 8, 2024, 3 additional counties were granted individual assistance. In addition, the incident end date has been established as 6/5/2024. On July 8, 2024, 5 additional counties were granted individual assistance.
