FEMA Notice Date: June 29th, 2022
On 7/29/2022, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has issued a major disaster declaration for the State of Kentucky due to severe storms, flooding, landslides, and mudslides that occurred from 7/26/2022, and continuing. On August 8, 2022, FEMA granted individuals Assistance to 5 additional counties. On 9/1/2022, with Amendment 3 009 to 4663-DR, FEMA provided an incident period end date of August 11th, 2022. On 9/2/2022, with Amendment No. 11, FEMA granted individual Assistance to 1 additional county.
